How to work with others?

In the long term the only successful way of working with others is to accept them, engage them with your problem, trust them by not telling what they should do and involve them as early as possible.

Most good people will take offence to being told exactly what they need to do. This is usually also the sign of someone who takes pride in their work or craft. And thats the kind of people you want to work with. Micromanagement implies either the engagement or the trust is lacking in the relationship.
